Add your first device, build a preset, and fire it over MIDI - start to finish.
RigWork is a browser-based MIDI preset manager for guitarists with MIDI rigs. It catalogs every pedal and device you own, lets you build named presets that capture settings across all of them at once, and fires the right MIDI messages live - from the browser, no extra software.
The core problem it solves: you have eight MIDI pedals, each with its own editor app, and nothing ties them together for a show. RigWork ties them together.
Click + Add Device on the Gear tab. Pick a device from the template dropdown - if your pedal is listed, its full CC map loads automatically. RigWork ships with templates for Meris Mercury7, Polymoon, Hedra, Ottobit Jr, Boss DD-200, TC Flashback X4, EHX Pitch Fork, and Alexander Wavelength.
Templates pre-fill the device name, type, MIDI channel, and every CC parameter with proper labels and ranges.
If your pedal isn't in the template list, add it as a custom device. Set its name, type, and MIDI channel. It will respond to Program Change messages from presets but won't have CC-level control.
Click the Edit CCs button on any device card. The CC editor slides in from the right. Every parameter for that device appears as a labeled slider (0–127). Move a slider and the CC message fires to your connected MIDI output in real time.
When you've dialed in a sound you want to save, click Capture → to copy the current slider values into the preset you're editing, or Save as preset to create a new preset from this snapshot.
Go to the Presets tab and click + New Preset. Name it ("Verse Clean", "Bridge Doom Wall"), pick a color tag, and assign it a PC number.
For each device in your roster, you can set:
When you click Fire on a preset, RigWork sends all the CCs first, then the PC - so your pedal receives its parameter values before the program change confirms them.
Click the MIDI button in the sidebar. Your browser will ask for Web MIDI permission - allow it. Once connected, all preset fires and CC moves send to every connected MIDI output.
Build a setlist in the Setlist tab: add songs, assign a preset to each song (or per-section within a song). Then open Show Mode. You'll see your songs across the top and sections in the main area. Tap a section to fire its preset. Use Space or → to advance, 1–9 to jump to a song.
