Organize your songs, assign scenes and presets per section, plan breaks, and generate your Show Bible. The active setlist drives Show Mode.
RigWork supports multiple named setlists — one per show, tour leg, rehearsal night, or recording session. The setlist manager at the top of the Setlist tab lets you create, rename, and switch between them. The active setlist is what Show Mode uses.
Each setlist contains an ordered list of songs. Click + Add Song to create one. Each song has:
Songs can be broken into named sections, each with its own scene or preset. This is the main workflow for songs where your tone changes mid-song:
Verse → scene "Dry Clean" (CC state: reverb mix 0, delay mix 30)
Chorus → scene "Big Wash" (CC state: reverb mix 127, delay mix 80)
Bridge → scene "Shimmer" (reverb algorithm Ultraplate, mod depth 90)
To add sections to a song, expand it in the Setlist tab and click + Add Section. Each section gets a name and a scene (or preset). In Show Mode, each section appears as its own tile — tapping it fires the scene.
A scene fires a full CC state across all your MIDI gear at once. A preset fires a PC message (and any CC overrides) to specific devices. Scenes are the recommended choice for section-level tone changes because they capture the whole rig state rather than just a program number.
To assign a scene: click the scene dropdown next to a song (or inside a section). To assign a preset instead: use the preset dropdown. A section scene overrides the song-level scene for that section only.
A song with no sections shows as a single tile in Show Mode. Tapping it fires the song's scene or preset.
Setlists can include break entries — placeholders for non-song moments. Click + Break to add one. Break types:

In Show Mode, break entries show a break panel with the type, a countdown (if timed), and the next song. The conductor pauses on breaks.
Each song can store per-device setup notes — what knob positions to start with, what device preset to load, any dependencies ("this chorus tone only works because the preamp is at 9 o'clock"). Click ✎ Edit song → scroll to the Rig Setup section to add notes per device.
In Show Mode, the Setup panel appears above the section tiles for the active song, showing each device's notes and chain context. This replaces the "sticky note on the pedalboard" workflow.
Each setlist has a free-text notes field at the bottom of the Setlist tab — for logistics, venue notes, setlist rationale, or anything that applies to the whole show. These notes are included in the Show Bible.
Toggle between Live and Recording with the mode switcher at the top of the Setlist tab.

Recording mode is for planning an album or EP session — knowing which songs land on which side before you go to the studio:
If you've built a setlist in the tools.gpdoom.com Setlist Builder, click ⤵ Import in the Setlist tab header. Paste the shareable link or drop the JSON file to import it. Songs, order, BPM, key, and notes come across; then you assign scenes/presets inside RigWork.
Click ⤴ Export to open the export modal. Options:

Click Show Bible in the Setlist tab header to generate a print-ready show document. The Show Bible collects everything in one place:
Print it or save as PDF — it's the document you hand to a tech, FOH engineer, or fill-in musician when they need to understand your whole rig fast.
Use the arrow buttons (▲ ▼) on each song row to reorder the setlist. The order here is the order Show Mode navigates through with → / ←.
